What lies behind and beyond the beauty of the flower and the plant because history says a lot.16 June 2023I believe that everything comes from the plant, and we live in a world, where healing is not a solution for big business and we are led to believe that the panacea of reward, happiness, love, and health plus fulfilment lies within technology. However 3500 years ago, our chakras were discovered in India and the power of the flower and the plant extract, was used to cure many ailments. In ancient Egypt, around 2600 BC, herbal therapies were applied to treat tumours. We are sceptical about ancient proven science and remedies, yet we place ourselves within the unknown new technologies of modern science, without thought. That is not to say, that there have been fantastic developments within modern medicine but perhaps we shouldn’t write off the plant before we have tried and experienced ancient remedies and theories. There are too many advocates, in my opinion, to discount without stepping into the world of aromatherapy and colour waves. Everything is natural and without chemicals. It is only my thoughts and direction, which I will report what I find, what I have experienced and what has benefitted me. I know nothing at present, but I am prepared to experience what I might find. I am very fortunate, in that I work with flowers every day and I feel, and I want to understand and to learn, what lies beneath and beyond the beauty and emotion. Colour aromatherapy is still in its infancy, although many flower lovers understand the power of the plant. Every flower contains a different energy. However, the violet essential oil is extracted from the flower or the entire plant, with the specific colour wavelength and vibration powers are captured within that oil. Thus, every essential oil has a signature. As a florist, I create beautiful bouquets containing fresh exquisite flowers that combine into an aesthetically pleasing and, in most cases, a scented gift that transfers an emotion. The emotion is varying degrees of love or personal friendship. The transfer of emotion doesn’t require words, just as the vibration of colours, can’t be seen. The receiver takes from the gift, the emotion which best suits, their understanding and the vibration of the colour. This in the majority of cases, is what the sender intended, but there is so much more to the plant and flower. Flowers carry energy through the vibration of colours, and oils that can be extracted from these flowers have beneficial, therapeutic, as well as medicinal properties, as previously stated, each flower or plant has its signature, which contains undisputable benefits. As an example, I will start with the Violet plant, which has beautiful flowers. The healing colours are violet and green. The combination is very good for meditation. The essential oil is extracted from the fresh flower, and the oil vibrates on the violet ray, as well as containing green energy. This promotes the flow of energy between the heart and crown chakras. There are 7 chakras. In short, the system of the 7 chakras was identified in India around 1500 BC. The 7 chakras are based down the spine and are described as spinning wheels. They are all interconnected and all are connected to the well-being of the person. The violet promotes a healing power for the brain and thus allows energy to pass through to our higher mind. In the physical world, Violet flowers are also antiseptic and have pain-killing properties, are a tonic for the kidneys and when we revert to the energy. The violet is a fantastic flower for unblocking all of the chakras, from the base to the crown. I have given a very broad overview, of both the colour therapy and the uses within aromatherapy. In short, violet within the world of aromatherapy sees (the) violet as a cleansing agent for the kidney and liver and congestion in the lower body. This also includes helping with breathing and respiratory tract problems, soothing inflammation, and pain-killing properties, and what other flowers and plants have beneficial, therapeutic, and medicinal properties? How exactly does colour and aromatherapy work and how can they be applied? How can ancient remedies and theories be integrated with modern medicine for a more holistic approach to healing, when ancient remedies already ease rheumatism, gout and fibrosis? The violet is truly a very powerful plant with life qualities of peace, faith, service, piety, spiritualism and mysticism. I would like to learn and I will research more and if you are interested, feel free to phone me. I am always open to learning and happy to share my findings.
