Mother's Day

Mothering Sunday is one of the most important days of the year for a family and especially our mothers. 

It is a joyful time, to be able to celebrate a day focused around, our Mums.

It is a fabulous day to relish and enjoy with our Mum’s and family where possible, but it is also thoughtful to think of those who can’t visit their Mum and it’s still good to phone and let them know you love them and flowers are a wonderful way of transferring the emotion of love.

I am also mindful of how many Mums are no longer with and we wouldn’t be here without them. Flowers are beautiful to look at and memory mother’s day flowers, may help you through the day and bring some sunshine into your heart. I see all sorts in floristry and I have customers that do this, as a way of remembering and to think of all the lovely ways they loved their mum and help them through the day.

I realise only too well, how many Mums have been taken before their time, over the last few years and beyond. Whether our Mum’s are still with us or not, it still should be a day of celebration of that special persons life in some way, shape or form.
